Excited to co-host the AI Pitch Night together with Altos Bank and Han Kun LLP in Silicon Valley on 5/15.
Why the three of us? Because for founders at the earliest stage, the most important long-term partners are often: a trusted bank, a strong law firm, and an investor who is willing to grow alongside the company for the long run.
While all three organizations are relatively new platforms, our network involvement and ecosystem engagement have been built over many years. Altos Bank officially launched in March 2025 after a successful soft launch. Han Kun Law Offices officially opened its Silicon Valley office in June 2025. And for xNova VC, we officially started our fund setup around last October.
So in many ways, tonight is not just a Pitch Night. It is also a joint debut in Silicon Valley for several new platforms built on years of deep community and industry involvement.
Tonight’s startups are all connected through one core theme: AI. The lineup includes: Anemos Bio, Calaris Diagnostics, Chestnut Robotics, Devol Robots, iQ Surgical, Loud Tea Studio, and MicroTrace BioAI.
The sectors are especially exciting:
- Robotics, from foundation models to dexterous hands
- Healthcare and life sciences
- AI entertainment and AI-native storytelling
Why these areas? Because fundamentally, they all point to the same question: What should AI ultimately bring to humanity?
We believe AI is not just about higher efficiency. It is about helping people do less repetitive work, live healthier lives, unlock more creativity and joy, and ultimately achieve more.
