We were delighted to host the xNova Qiantang Gathering 2026 by West Lake in Hangzhou—our first xNova event in China. What began as a small gathering among friends grew organically through the encouragement and participation of our community, reminding us that true network effects are not designed, but built through authentic connections.
Guests joined us from Silicon Valley, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Singapore, Europe, Canada, and across China. Entrepreneurs, industry leaders, investors, financial institutions, professional service firms, and technology communities came together around a shared interest in AI, robotics, deep tech, and the next generation of builders.
We were honored to welcome distinguished business leaders and emerging entrepreneurs, including Wei Li of New Hope Group, Walch founder Dawei Zuo, entrepreneur and philanthropist Jing Hui, Yuandong Tian of Recursive Superintelligence, and Xingyu Yang of Yangguofu Group. The name Qiantang Gathering reflects the spirit of the evening: A Gathering at Qiantang, Capital Meets the Next Wave, and From West Lake to the AI Wave. More than two decades after the West Lake Summit became a symbol of China’s internet era, a new generation of talent and capital is now moving toward AI, robotics, and deep technology.
xNova is more than a venture fund. We are building a network-driven fund, grounded in trusted relationships, technology communities, and global talent networks. We hope the Qiantang Gathering will continue to connect exceptional founders, investors, and builders—and help the next generation of supernovas enter orbit.
