Over the past few days, xNova VC had the opportunity to participate in three meaningful university alumni events across Silicon Valley, each bringing together founders, investors, operators, researchers, and technology leaders to discuss entrepreneurship, innovation, and the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
The first event was the Zhejiang University Qiushi AI Alliance Silicon Valley event, “Meeting the Qiushi AI Force in Silicon Valley,” where xNova VC joined the panel discussion “The Right Posture in the AI Wave: A Debate Across the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 00s Generations.” The conversation highlighted how different generations view the opportunities, challenges, and responsibilities brought by the AI era.
The second was the Stanford Chinese Alumni Association annual conference, where xNova VC participated as a supporting speaker in the startup pitch session, engaging with early-stage founders and the broader innovation community.
The third was the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Silicon Valley Alumni Association’s “Entrepreneurship 101” event, where xNova VC joined a panel discussion and shared perspectives from working with AI-native and deep tech startups.
Across all three events, one theme was clear: AI is no longer just a technology trend. It is reshaping how companies are built, how industries evolve, how talent is organized, and how capital is deployed.
At xNova VC, we believe strong founder networks, trusted community connections, and cross-disciplinary collaboration are essential to identifying and supporting the next generation of transformative companies. University alumni communities in Silicon Valley continue to play an important role in this ecosystem by connecting talent, ideas, capital, and real-world industry experience.
