We’re excited to share that xNova VC has invested in RoboForce, a Silicon Valley–based company building Physical AI robots for demanding industrial environments, as part of its $52M oversubscribed Pre-A round (bringing total funding to $67M). The round was led by YZi Labs ($10B fund), with participation from Jerry Yang (co-founder and former CEO of Yahoo!), alongside existing investors including Myron Scholes (Nobel Laureate economist), Gary Rieschel (Founding Partner of Qiming Ventures), and Carnegie Mellon University.
Since its early deployments in 2025, RoboForce has already reported over 11,000 units of intent orders across 12 countries, signaling strong early demand for Physical AI systems in real-world industrial environments.
RoboForce is also gaining strong visibility within the Physical AI ecosystem, particularly through its close collaboration with NVIDIA. At last year’s GTC Washington, Jensen Huang presented a timeline of major technological milestones where RoboForce appeared alongside SpaceX, xAI, OpenAI, the Wright Brothers, and Bell Labs, representing a new generation of companies bringing Physical AI into the real world. At GTC 2026, NVIDIA introduced the Physical AI Data Factory Blueprint, a core infrastructure for next-generation intelligent physical systems, where RoboForce is currently the only robotics company globally selected as a deep partner to help bring this architecture into real-world robotic deployment.
This round drew strong interest from investors. Consistent with xNova’s philosophy of identifying promising “Nova” companies early and supporting them as they grow, RoboForce has long been on the radar of the xNova ecosystem—including our Strategic Advisors, Founding Council, and LP Operator network. Many of them were familiar with the company well before this round and had maintained positive interactions with the team over time, making this investment a natural continuation of that long-standing engagement.
